Note: You will need boxes when sending Netflix-issued equipment for returns or repairs. If you don't have the original box, you may need to request one.
Security Requirements and Supported Models
You can only access Netflix corporate data on your cellphone if you fulfill these requirements:
iPhone
- Software must be no more than one major iOS version behind the most recently released version.
- There is a three-month grace period to update after the new iOS version release.
Android
- Software must be no more than one major Android version behind the most recently released version.
- There is a three-month grace period to update after the new OS version release.

Supported models:
- Google Pixel
- Samsung Galaxy S Enterprise Edition (only available in certain regions).
Note: All other devices are blocked.
Select your device type and follow the instructions to add your Netflix, Roald Dahl, or Netflix Animation account to your cellphone.
iPhone
If setting up the device for the first time, reference the Apple Set Up Your iPhone or iPad guide.
Step 1: Set Up Okta Passwordless
Refer to How To Manage Okta Passkeys to set up a passkey for your device.
Step 2: Install and Set Up Google Device Policy
- Search for Chrome in the App Store, then install and set it as the default browser.
- Search for Google Device Policy in the App Store, then install it.
- Open Google Device Policy and follow the on-screen prompts until you reach the Google sign-in screen.
- Enter your Netflix email address and select Next to sign in.
- Accept the Terms of Service.
- Select the round Download button to install the profile.
- Select Allow to download a configuration profile.
- Select Close when the download is complete.
- Close your browser and open your device's Settings app.
- Within Settings, a button titled Profile Downloaded will appear. Select Profile Downloaded to install it.
- Select Install when prompted to install the Google Apps Device Policy profile.
- Enter your device's passcode.
- Select Install on the warning screen.
- Select Trust.
- Select Done to close the installer.
Step 3: Install Okta Verify and Enroll Your Account
Note: You will need to have a passkey already set up on your device for this step. Ensure you have completed Step 1: Set Up Okta Passwordles, and that a passkey is present on your iPhone before proceeding.
- Open the Okta Verify app and select Get Started.
- Select Next.
- Select Add Account.
- When prompted to choose an account type, select Organization.
- When prompted to add an account from another device, select Skip.
- When prompted with a request for a QR code, select No, Sign In Instead.
- Enter your organization URL https://wic.prod.netflix.net if it is not pre-filled, then select Next.
- Complete authentication in your browser by entering your username and selecting Use Passkey or Security Key.
- Select Allow when prompted to allow push notifications.
- Select Enable on the Face ID or passcode confirmation screen.
- Select Done to finish adding your account
Step 4: Enroll Your Account for Device Trust
- Open a new window in the Chrome browser on your mobile device.
- Go to https://wic.prod.netflix.net.
- Enter your email address and sign in using Okta FastPass.
- When prompted, select Open Okta Verify and enter your screen lock code or Face ID.
- Return to your browser when verification is complete.
- Your account will now be enrolled for device trust.
Step 5: Install Google Workspace Apps
- In Google Device Policy, select Menu then Apps.
- Select Install for all required applications.
If your device is not syncing, follow the Resolve Google Device Policy Alert on iPhone.
Android
While Google Pixels and some Samsung Enterprise Editions are supported Android phones at Netflix, setting up your @netflix.com, @netflixcontractors.com, or @roalddahl.com accounts will be best experienced on a Google Pixel device.
@netflixanimation.com is currently only accessible on iOS or Android Pixel cellphones.
Android devices will need a work profile to access Netflix information, such as Gmail and Google Calendar. Complete these steps to set up your Android device's work profile.
Step 1: Set Up Okta Passwordless
Refer to How To Manage Okta Passkeys to set up a passkey for your device.
Step 2: Set Up Your Android Work Profile
- Download the Gmail app from the Google Play store.
- Open the Gmail app on your Android device.
- Select the Menu icon.
- Select the down arrow.
- Select Add Account.
- Select Google as the type.
- Enter the Netflix-issued email address when prompted.
- Select Next on the remaining prompts to set up the work profile.
- Select Accept & Continue and install the work apps.
- When the setup is done, a work profile is created on the device that gives access to the Netflix-issued account.
If, when setting up the device, you receive this error, "Can't add work profile - contact your IT admin," remove the work profile and then add the Netflix account again:
- Go to the phone’s Settings.
- Select Password & Accounts.
- Select Remove Work Profile to completely remove the work profile.
- Back in Password & Accounts, select Add Account and re-add the Netflix account.
Step 3: Install Okta Verify and Enroll Your Account
You will need to have a passkey already set up on your device for this step. Ensure you have completed Step 1: Set Up Okta Passwordless and a passkey is present before proceeding.
- Download the Okta Verify app on the work profile from the Google Play store.
- Open the Okta Verify app from your work profile and select Get Started.
- Select Next.
- Select Add Account.
- When prompted to choose an account type, select Organization.
- When prompted to add an account from another device, select Skip.
- When prompted with a request for a QR code, select No, Sign In Instead.
- Enter your organization URL https://wic.prod.netflix.net if it is not pre-filled, then select Next.

Samsung Galaxy S21 Enterprise Edition
The rollout of this device might vary; it isn’t yet available in your country if you haven’t received a memo. This table displays a list of models and regions where it's currently available.
Note: Netflix Animation email isn't currently accessible on Samsung Galaxy cellphones.

Getting Started
- From the Welcome screen, select the appropriate language, then select Start.
- Select I have read and agree to all of the above, then select Next.
- Select a network and connect, then select Next.

Select Don't copy.
- You can use Samsung Smart Switch for data migration, noted in the next section.

Sign in to your Netflix Google account.
- You might have to agree to Google Terms and Conditions.
- You’ll be asked to install the Android Device Policy. This is mandatory.

Select Use for work only if you don’t intend to add a personal Google account.
- If you do, select Use for work & personal and always add your work account first.
- Your Work Profile and or Personal Profile will be created.
- Set up a screen lock pattern, fingerprint, or passcode.
- It’s recommended that you uncheck all applications and select OK.
- Install Work apps.
- Your phone is ready for use.
Note: For Android devices, you’ll access all work apps on the Work Profile. The work apps are labeled with a briefcase icon. When you swipe up to access your app drawer, you’ll see Personal and Work tabs.
Data Migration
Samsung Smart Switch application will be in the Apps Drawer after you successfully set up your phone for the first time.
From another Android device:
- Open Settings on both devices.
- Select Cloud and Accounts.
- Select Smart Switch and then Wireless.
- Select Send from your previous phone and Retrieve from your new Galaxy phone.
- Select the items to transfer and select Transfer.
From an iPhone:
- On your iPhone, open Settings.
- Select your Apple ID.
- Select iCloud.
- Select iCloud Backup.
- Toggle Back Up This Phone on.
- Ensure Wi-Fi is connected.
- On your new Galaxy phone, open Settings.
- Select Cloud and Accounts.
- Select Smart Switch and then Wireless.
- Select Galaxy smartphone to receive and select your iphone when prompted.
- Sign into your Cloud Storage account from your Galaxy.
- Select the items to transfer and select Transfer.
- If you are using Duo, select your device's appropriate OS from the Duo overview page and follow the setup instructions.
- If you are enrolled in Okta Passwordless follow the steps for Add a new passkey for your device from How To Manage Okta Passkeys.
